The band recently released a 10 track EP titled “KD: The EP.” They will be in Los Angeles to join Radio Disney DJ Ernie D in-studio for a Take Over airing Friday, December 10th (6:00 p.m., ET/3:00 p.m., PT).

Internationally renowned percussionist and Gibraltar Artists Bashiri Johnson (Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Sting), has just completed a contemporary reworking of the iconic song “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”. Both the song and accompanying video have been dedicated to US troops at home and abroad. The USO and the Vietnam Veterans Of America will receive proceeds from the record sales. “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” will also be the first single from the newly released Roots’n'Rhythm holiday CD “I’ll Be Dreaming”, mixed and mastered by Darren Moore at Manhattan Center Studio. In this video Gibraltar Hardware’s Brent Barnett shows how he built a drum rack for Embers drummer Dusty Saxton. Dusty wanted curved bars with double tiers, and flashy but stealth. Brent suggested he use a combination of ideas from Samantha Maloney and Al Wilson.

Her advice for aspiring musicians: Learn your rudiments. Learn how to read music. Practice to your favorite album. Wear earplugs!!
