Internationally renowned percussionist and Gibraltar Artists Bashiri Johnson (Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Sting), has just completed a contemporary reworking of the iconic song “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”. Both the song and accompanying video have been dedicated to US troops at home and abroad. The USO and the Vietnam Veterans Of America will receive proceeds from the record sales. “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” will also be the first single from the newly released Roots’n'Rhythm holiday CD “I’ll Be Dreaming”, mixed and mastered by Darren Moore at Manhattan Center Studio. In this video Gibraltar Hardware’s Brent Barnett shows how he built a drum rack for Embers drummer Dusty Saxton. Dusty wanted curved bars with double tiers, and flashy but stealth. Brent suggested he use a combination of ideas from Samantha Maloney and Al Wilson.

We were able to sit down with Lamb of God drummer Chris Alder at the 2010 Mayhem tour to talk about drum hardware and the tour. In the interview Chris talks about the tour, the durability of Gibraltar hardware and how the drum rack makes his set ups faster.
Samantha Maloney shows off her new Gibraltar Hardware drum rack. Brent Barnett worked with Samantha to design this killer new rack. In the videos Samantha talks about wanting a low profile rack and how it’s important to her playing style that the rack be symmetrical. She is currently drumming for Brother Clyde with frontman Billy Ray Cyrus.
The first video goes into detail about the design process with Gibraltar’s Brent Barnett taking you through the construstion and how he came up with his Low Rider design. In this interview Samantha talks about being inspired by the Gibraltar Stealth rack.
